Lure selection is critical to the water clarity. If the water is dirty of murky I always use bright colour lures and buss baits. You might have been told that on sunny bright days to use a lure that is bright in colour or on cloudy days use a duller colour lure.

I find this has no barring if it is cloudy or bright out. What I have found if the water is clear use a duller colour and if the water is dirty with low visual always use a bright colours and if your lure has a rattle all the better.

If you use this simple tip you will catch more fish and maybe outfish your boyfriend as well.
