Bass Fishing Tips
Norm Wrote I Just came back from my holidays in the Kawartha lakes.
The hostest top water bass bait by far believe it or not was a white mouse.
I was having little success with my usual surface lure then my brother in law told me to try the mouse which was still in the package and sitting in my tackle box for two years.
I threw it on and the fish just started hammering it. After three hours and 8 fish latter my brother in law made me take him back to shore and go shopping in town to find some more.
I Hope This Tip Helps

Catching Lazy Afternoon Bass
Bass Fishing Tip Of The Week
This weeks Tip Was Sent In Buy Harry Brown Of Baldrock Kentucky U.S.A.
Harry Wrote:
Here is a tip that will catch you more Largemouth Bass In the Afternoon Heat.
I use a a Gulp worm black in colour and rig it so its weedless. I then do not put any extra added weight on my line.
I cast in the Lilly pads that have big pockets between them and let the bait subtly fall. If I don't get a hit I just work it back to the boat.
I caught 6 fish in one hour using this technique and I am sure you will to.

Bass Fishing Lure Selection
Bass Fishing Tip Of The Week
Lure Selection
This tip was sent in by Gail Clark of Huston Texas
Gail Wrote: Yes I am a women but I almost always outfish my boyfriend using one tip my dad tought me that I would like to share with you.
Lure selection is critical to the water clarity. If the water is dirty of murky I always use bright colour lures and buss baits. You might have been told that on sunny bright days to use a lure that is bright in colour or on cloudy days use a duller colour lure.
I find this has no barring if it is cloudy or bright out. What I have found if the water is clear use a duller colour and if the water is dirty with low visual always use a bright colours and if your lure has a rattle all the better.
If you use this simple tip you will catch more fish and maybe outfish your boyfriend as well.
Thank you Gail for your tip I am sure our readers will find it usefull.

Bass Fishing Tip Of The Week
When I find the top water bass action to be a little slow there is one trick I use that seems to work.
I Will take an Alka-Seltzer tablet or any tablet that fizzes when it hits water. I will then take an elastic band and put the tablet on the belly of my bait and secure with the elastic.
When the bait hits the water the tablet starts to fizz it will often produce a strike out of reflex and not hunger.
Hope this tip helps Mike Harnden, ONT' CAN
